According to SoDA’s 2015 DMO Study, C-Level executives are showing unprecedented levels of interest in digital marketing initiatives and partnerships. This survey and others also indicate that marketers increasingly feel that they are not getting the expertise they need from their agency partners.

Frustration often stems from that fact that for all the time spent getting smarter about marketing technology, CMOs often find themselves managing a host of resources that together don’t quite get at the most pressing marketing performance issues that will drive business success. While it is important for marketers to get smarter about technology, it’s even more important for them to help their organizations and technology partners get smarter about their marketing.

In this session, we'll examine the current state of client /agency partnerships and discuss some best practices for optimizing the relationship.
