In this SoDA Roundtable, we’ll cover the basics and talk specifically about the top of the funnel and how to generate more inbound leads.The service sales and marketing model sounds simple: Acquire new relationships with the capacity and capability of providing sustainable growth for your business. However, those of us who’ve endured the long fight in this particular business know its extremely complicated. The good news is that the complexity can be leveraged into opportunity for success by creating a well oiled machine and sticking to it. Whether you’re in this game to take over the world or to keep the lights on doing the work you love, you need to be good at soliciting, selling, retaining and growing customers.

This session is meant to be half presentation and half open discussion, so bring any and all of your questions!

About the Speaker:

Joe Olsen is the CEO of Phenomblue, an award-winning connected communications firm which he co-founded in 2004. Recognized as a strategic and innovative leader in business, Joe has been featured in Fast Company, The Wall Street Journal, Wired Magazine and by other leading press. Joe is also a frequent industry speaker and serial entrepreneur with Phenomblue being his third start-up. Prior to that, Joe was a software consultant creating emerging media solutions and driving strategic technology planning for direct clients on behalf of technology companies including Microsoft, Adobe and Apple. Additionally, he serves on the board for Goodwill Omaha, the Omaha Sports Commission, the Business Ethics Alliance and the Omaha Creative Institute. Joe co-founded Omaha Creative Week and founded the Heartland Developers Conference (HDC), the region’s longest running annual conference for software designers and developers.
