SoDA Roundtable: Dark Social - from Public to Private

Chris Messina, Developer Experience Lead at Uber has dubbed 2016 the year of "conversational commerce." It’s predicted that by 2020, the customer will manage 85% of their relationships with an enterprise without actually interacting with a human.

This is being fueled, in part, by the continuing rise of messenger apps as they morph from mere messaging services to fully fledged platforms.

In this session, Huskies Director of Social Search and Performance Media, David Hayes, will take a look at how brands are incorporating them into their CX, CRM and marketing strategies as a means for supporting and engaging with customers.

About David:

David Hayes is the Director of Social, Search and Performance Media at In The Company of Huskies as well as a board member. He is responsible for leading an accomplished team of media professionals with particular focus on the implementation and management of effective and integrated strategies. David has over 20 years experience in the creative/cultural sector as a digital artist, filmmaker, and creative strategist. For the last 8 years he has focused on digital marketing with a particular focus on social and networked communities. He has played a pivotal role in developing a range of campaign and client solutions, including the development of a digital strategic framework for Guinness across Western Europe and more recently the development of an integrated content strategy for Failte Ireland’s Visit Dublin and Wild Atlantic Way programmes.
