About This Class

As an entrepreneur in the fashion industry a mastermind group can assist in successfully growing your creative business. If you are looking for something in addition to a community, something more close-knit, a smaller group of trusted colleagues where you can comfortably share ideas, frustrations, and needs, then join this group!

"A mastermind is supposed to be a safe place to talk. Confidentiality is paramount, and when people share, keep an open mind."

If you are excited to have your voice heard amongst a creative group of individuals then I hope to see you!

What Will You Need For Class

You will need to be highly-motivated, and are willing to ask for -- and give -- help and support, and are willing to show up for every meeting. Pen or pencil and paper to take notes.

What Will You Learn In This Class

  • Answers and ideas, which come from brainstorming with the group
  • Experience, skill and confidence
  • Accountability and real progress in your business and personal life
  • An instant and valuable support network
  • A sense of shared endeavor - there are others out there!
  • Design things to be the way you want them to be, not as you've been told they "should" be

About Your Host: Nancy Plummer

I’d like to say I’ve had a passion for fashion my entire life. I got my Bachelors degree from Miami University majoring in Home Economics, Retailing. I have experience as a Sales Representative for major fashion vendors such as GAP and Ellen Tracy, to Image Management consulting, retail stylist, and adjunct faculty and Program chair at fashion universities in Chicago. I achieved a Master’s Degree in Training & Development in 2006 from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL. My image consulting firm - Fine Threads, was established in 1999. I'm usually consulting and teaching, but when I’m not working, I'm out enjoying Chicago; from the lakefront to the unique retail shops. I can proudly say I am a published author, having written a textbook, Your Personal Style, published in February 2009 by Fairchild Publications.
