The Collier Connection is hosting this closing event as a part of our dinner series, Society 1925. Society 1925 is an intimate dinner for people of color new to the area, long-time transplants, and native Bostonians to connect across racial & ethnic backgrounds, communities, sectors, and experiences. The goals for the series are to bridge the gap between transplants & locals and build community - beyond networking - through the sharing of personal stories and skills bartering.

WHAT IS THE COLLIER CONNECTION?

Founded by Sheena Collier, The Collier Connection creates a home for content, programming, and physical spaces to enhance the ways that black people experience Boston. TCC is building an ecosystem that connects black people to information, resources, experiences, and each other and teaches you how to find your tribe, activate your network, navigate the city, and have fun.

WHAT IS THE FIERCE URGENCY OF NOW (F.U.N.) FESTIVAL?

A one-of-a-kind, five-day series of events hosted by local business and organizations geared at highlighting the experiences, challenges, and opportunities for young professionals of color in our city with the ultimate goal of creating community. With more than 30 events scheduled, you can plan to learn, connect, and have fun all week long, while also lending your voice to change. The festival is organized by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce and City Awake together with a variety of organizations who are all committed to creating a community where all feel welcome and all can succeed.
