Event description

Description

#decolonize17 is the second annual revival of the #decolonizeLutheranism movement. In Philadelphia, PA - and taking place at the historic Philadelphia campus of United Lutheran Seminary (7301 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA ) on Friday, November 3 - Saturday November 4, 2017- our focus will be on how distinct Lutheran communities - as well as confessional Lutheran theology itself - work to engage society at large. As with last year's gathering, each presentation will be grounded in a season of the liturgical calendar year, and specific articles of the Augsburg Confession.

Registration fee information:

  • Through Labor Day (Monday, September 4, 2017) we have an Early-Bird rate of $25. General registration then increases to $35 on Tuesday, Septebmer 5, 2017.
  • If you are a student or seminarian, your registration is only $10!
  • We also have group rates offered below -- must purchase the tickets for your group together and have every participant's information ready to enter.

All sessions will have American Sign Language interpreters, Spanish interpretation, and Visually Impaired attendees will also have the option to receive a program bulletin in Braille if they so need.
