This 4-part social media marketing workshop is designed for consumer-facing brands that have a story to tell but have lacked the time to put together a formal social media strategy. Each week we will dive into the most important social media marketing topics to give you the skills and know-how to create and execute a social media plan customized for your company.

What to Expect:

This workshop runs every Thursday from April 11th - May 2nd at 12 pm - 1:30 pm. Each session will be part presentation and part implementation. By the end of the four weeks you will walk away with:

  1. A customized social media strategy for your company
  2. A clear set of social media objectives that have you standing out from competitors
  3. A customized content calendar
  4. The tools needed to execute your strategy including scheduling tools, paid advertising, content creation, social listening, etc.
  5. The know-how to build a community and tell your brand's story leveraging social media
  6. In-depth knowledge of how to measure results on social media

Series Outline:

  • Week #1, Thursday 4/11: A presentation on the role social media plays in achieving company objectives and an overview of building a social media process. Exercises will include: Evaluating your industry and competitors on social media along with defining your social media objectives.
  • Week #2, Thursday, 4/18: A presentation on translating brand messaging into powerful social media storytelling. Exercises will include: Defining your company's social media story; completing a profile audit; establishing content pillars; and building out a content calendar.
  • Week #3, Thursday, 4/25: A presentation on how to be "social" on social media. Exercises include: Defining success metrics and putting together a plan for community management and growing your following.
  • Week #4, Thursday, 5/2: A presentation on paid advertising, influencer marketing and recommended tools for implementation. Exercises include: Defining your company best practices and tools to leverage for social media marketing execution.

Who should attend?

B2C companies, Founders, Marketing Managers or a team member who wears the hat of social media responsibilities. This is a hands-on workshop where company representatives will work on their social media strategies will expert advice from industry expert, Founder and CEO of Chipperfield Media, Charlotte Chipperfield.

Requirements for this Workshop:

  1. Must have access to company social media accounts
  2. Must be comfortable with posting and navigating social media platforms
  3. Must have a clear understanding of your company's core messaging

Additional Details:

  • Attendees should bring a laptop computer to complete the exercises in each session.
  • This workshop takes place over the lunch hour. No food will be provided but we invite you to bring a brown paper lunch. Coffee, tea and water are available at Centrl offices.
