Florida Blue and the annual Hispanicize 2014 event are teaming up to provide more than 100 nonprofits serving Latino and multicultural communities with a free, half day Latino Social Media for Social Good Training on March 31 in Miami. The 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. program includes free, healty, Latin-inspired lunch, also courtesy of Florida Blue.
The half day, English-language training will be led by three social media experts with extensive experience in helping nonprofits leverage the power of social media to better serve their communities. The facilitators are Alex de Carvalho, founder of the Social Media Club of South Florida and Regional Development Director at Constant Contact; Maricela Cueva, Vice President of VPE PR; and Katherine Doble, publisher of Los Tweens and Teens and president of Siren Marketing.
Reservations are on a first-come, first-serve basis exclusively for nonprofits in Florida, as well as other nonprofits that are registered to attend Hispanicize 2014.
