Resprana: We are currently developing a first-generation wearable air filter. We will be using nanofiber materials electrospun and placed in an exterior casing created with silicone. We want to create a device that is sleek, attractive, effective and easily adoptable. The Resprana wearable air filter will also incorporate personal quantifying technology so users will know the good they are doing for their bodies.
Emerge: With the ultimate goal to end the digital divide in education for low-income schools, Emerge is redefining the idea of digital infrastructure in education by providing the optimal ed-tech delivery system.
makeSense: An interactive video platform that helps anyone understand complex political issues through quick animations with questions embedded throughout, and then offers targeted ways to take action. We deliver background information on a particular issue using animated infographics that ask critical thinking questions throughout. Based on a user’s responses, the user is provided with a bullet point summary of his or her position, which can then be compared with the views of prominent politicians and upcoming legislation on the issue. We also offer various ways to take action, such as links to political action groups, humanitarian groups, community organizations, and petitions. All of a user’s activity and responses may be saved to their profile to refer back to later.
