Event description

Description

Throughout history arts and culture have promoted understanding and action on issues facing our communities and the world. As modern communities continue to grow in size and complexity, we must recognize the important role of the arts in strengthening communities and encouraging meaningful connection to important cultural institutions.

Join The Hong Kong Jockey Club Programme on Social Innovation for a cross-cultural fireside chat with Bill Michel, Executive Director of UChicago Arts and the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts and Alice Mong, Executive Director of Asia Society Hong Kong Center, moderated by Heidi Thompson Saunders, Managing Director of the Court Theatre. This thought provoking discussion will delve into the benefits of using scholarship and creative intelligence as catalysts for social impact.

Please note that doors will open at 6:30pm with main event starting promptly at 7:00pm. Networking reception to follow.
