Event description
Social Impact Challenge and Tech4Good End of Year Celebration

About this Event

Join nonprofit leaders, community advocates and social impact technologists for an inspiring evening exploring solutions to address the youth hunger crisis in the US.

In its second year, the Kintone Social Impact Challenge is a free event bringing together social change agents who design, build and showcase tech products that benefit the community. In partnership with Caravan Studios, a division of TechSoup, this year’s Social Impact Challenge will focus on the UN's Sustainable Development Goal 2: ending hunger by 2030.

This event is a culmination of a 6-month long design thinking exercise with Bay Area youth-serving nonprofits and charities that work to address, food insecurity, policy, government, and social services organizations. The end result is the development of six design concepts that will be built into prototypes to address childhood hunger.

See the winner announced on December 12 at TechSoup’s San Francisco office. The winning solution will be built by teamwork software provider Kintone then given back to community members and organizations needing it.

Join us for this free event. You won’t want to miss:

  • Networking with Bay Area social impact leaders
  • Learning more about Tech For Good design thinking principles and solutions to address childhood hunger
  • Feeling inspired by humanitarian-driven technology and the people behind it
