Experienced SENE providers and trainers cover topics from forming a team to delivering evaluative case feedback, including:
- Critical components of the SENE process,
- How the ENE process differs from other forms of ADR,
- Explaining the SENE process to parties and counsel,
- Methods for acquiring reliable and sufficient case information from parties and counsel,
- Ethical considerations for SENEs,
- Techniques for managing session behavior,
- Creating an atmosphere conducive to a successful outcome,
- Preparing & delivering feedback effectively, and
- Methods for reaching and memorializing an agreement.
ENE Training participants learn to conduct ENE sessions while gaining knowledge of ENE process and theory. In this experiential training, ENE trainers use demonstration and role play in conjunction with expert panels and in-depth presentations. Participants will gain eligibility for the SCAO’s ENE Provider List – please see the information under “Prospective Providers” on the MN State Court website for additional ENE provider requirements.
