Join the Oregon Chapter in supporting the Sunshine Division!
During Day of SCervice, we will be sorting food and making emergency food boxes in order to support their mission of providing emergency food and clothing support to those who are in need.
Since 1923, the Portland Police Bureau Sunshine Division has been providing food and clothing relief to Portland families and individuals in need. Whether due to the loss of a job, domestic crime, illness, or victims of fire or disaster, the Sunshine Division has built a 94-year legacy of mobilizing quickly and efficiently to assist distressed Portlanders.
All are welcome to join us for lunch at the Oregon Public House (700 NE Dekum St. Portland, OR 97211)! The pub donates all profits after operating expenses and contingency savings to their current local partner charities - included on their current list is last year’s Day of SCervice partner, Children’s Book Bank. With your food and/or beverage purchase, you can vote for how their donations should be given!
