Snug Valley Farm Pasture Walk & Whole Hog BBQ Potluck

Help us celebrate Open Farm Week with a pasture walk, pot luck, whole hog BBQ and live music from our farmer friends at Snug Valley Farm in East Hardwick, VT.

We will show you around the farm where you'll see our grass-fed beef grazing on pasture, pigs out on pasture and sheep. Farmer Ben Nottermann will talk about the true meaning of regenerative agriculture and how our animals help sequester carbon and rebuild soil health. Afterward, we will enjoy a whole hog BBQ and potluck dinner with live music from our local farmer friends and dance into the evening together.

For this event, we welcome you to:

• Bring a potluck dish (please put your name on the bottom of the bowl in case you forget to take it home with you)
• BYOD - Bring your own drinks.
• Bring chairs and picnic blankets.
• Bring a cooler for your drinks and to store purchased meat items in!

At this event, we will have grassfed beef and pasture raised pork available for sale as well as other partner farm vendors with items for sale (hoping for cheese, milk, maple, wool and more!)

We will be renting a tent for shelter in case of inclement weather and will have portable bathroom facilities.

Ticket sales will help us pay our farmer musicians and our BBQ pit master as well as the cost for tent and bathroom rentals. Thank you so much for supporting Snug Valley Farm!
