Snow Dye a Fringed Scarf
Thu, March 30, 2017, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM EDT
This class is a one day workshop. It meets Thursday March 30th, 10:00-11:30am
We will have fun making a Monet-like, watercolory scarf using snow, if available, or ice. These scarves are fringed, rayon, and approximately 20 x 72 inches. They start out white, but you get to choose your colors (up to 5) and sprinkle away. They make awesome gifts, a beautiful wearable accessory, or across the foot of your bed for a punch of color.
You will be amazed at your very own, wearable piece of art! Bring an apron, if possible. Wear clothes that you are not afraid to stain permanently. This includes shoes. Students will finish the rinsing and washing process at home, with simple detailed instructions.
Instructor: Jill Burnstein, Fribbery
Material Fee: $15 payable to instructor on the 1st day of class.
Days: Thursday, 3/30/17
Time: 10:00am – 11:30am
