Event Details

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

Tech Networks of Boston (TNB) hosts roundtables every other Friday afternoon. These are informal discussions and presentations, on a wide range of topics of interest to TNB's staff, nonprofit clients, and friends.

Our featured speaker on October 25th will be David Orlinoff, founder and principal of Concord Financial Organization (CFO). CFO provides interim financial management and related consulting services, primarily to nonprofits. David has over 35 years of experience as a financial executive and has served about 60 nonprofits as a consultant or interim chief financial offer. He is also the board president of Third Sector New England and a member of the Audit Committee of United Way.

David will be leading a discussion of how general ledger software does or does not integrate with other systems such as billing/receivables, payroll, and fundraising. Although specific software products (for example, QuickBooks or Raiser’s Edge) may be mentioned from time to time, the emphasis will be on the general concepts of integration and communication and on keys to success in making systems work together.

Please note that this will not be a sales pitch for any product or service; it will be an educational opportunity for nonprofit professionals to learn along with their peers from other organizations.

We hope that you'll join us on October 25th!

Best regards from Deborah
