Sneak-Peak of the Village at San Antonio Center
Wednesday, February 27, 2013 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM (PST)
Mountain View, CA
Join us for a sneak-peek of the
Village at San Antonio Center
* RSVP required *
You’re invited to an exclusive behind-scenes look -- behind construction-fences -- of the new Village at San Antonio Center. The sneak-peak event includes an advance story of the soon-to-open first Phase of The Village, and a hint of future plans. Over light hors d’oeuvres and spirits, you’ll visit with fellow Chamber friends while members of the Village team will show you more detailed plans of the main components of Phase 2 coming on line in 2013. First is the retail, anchored by a new next-generation of Safeway stores such as you’ve never seen before, opening this spring. The full 134,000 square feet of retail will evoke a village atmosphere to compliment Mountain View, including 30 shops of amid friendly pedestrian walkways, landscaping and open-air plazas. And enhancing the vibrant community is a residential component of 330 new apartments, woven into the Village design as three distinct buildings. And our innovative park space will be an amenity for residents, shoppers and Mountain View residents – with a special dog-walk dog-park space as well.
Not to be overlooked are the benefits for the City of Mountain View, including estimates of over $1 million in annual sales tax revenue that can fund critical city services, and more than 700 industry jobs during the 16-month construction timeline….all without public-sector funding assistance.
There’s something for everyone at the Village, and we hope you can join us for the advanced look at Mountain View’s exciting new community.
