Description

Orientation to School Food Service. This course will review the meal patterns for both the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program. Offer versus Serve, food safety basics, production records and more! This class is geared toward individuals who work within the School Nutrition Programs (National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs).

Special Instructions: You can bring copies of your production records if you have questions. There will be 1 hour for a lunch break in which participants are on thier own.

SNASD's University Training Series offers 4 trainings throughout the school year in the 4 regions of our state. Participants may and are encouraged to register for trainings within and/or outside of their region. The goal of these trainings is to offer pertinent and strong trainings so our members can achieve professional development hours and continue their education in the world of Child Nutrition.

*These trainings are FREE FOR OUR SNA MEMBERS. If you are not a member but would like to attend a training, we ask that you simply pay to become a member and the training will be free.
