The Sevier County Fire Chiefs Association would like to welcome you to Smoky Mountain Weekend 2023! We are excited to have you as a part of this event and we are thrilled to have you as a visitor to The Great Smoky Mountains and Gatlinburg in East Tennessee!

ALL STUDENTS MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE BY THE START OF THEIR CLASS EXCEPT FOR THE JR FIREFIGHTER CLASS.

This event is designed as the perfect opportunity for you to spend the weekend getting prepared for the risks in your community. We encourage you to take the information back to your departments and share with your brothers and sisters in the Fire Service.

This year, there are elements of the event that have significantly changed from previous years and countless hours have been spent to ensure you have a great learning experience. We strive to bring you high quality education, knowledgeable instructors and the latest information within the Fire Service. This event would not be possible without you and we encourage you to be engaged as much as possible.

Like this event, the Sevier County Fire Chiefs Association is successful because it brings together multiple agencies from all disciplines of emergency services. Thanks to our students, instructors, support staff, vendors, committee members, agencies and corporate sponsors for contributions toward the success of this event.

Once you have completed class, we ask that you please take time to complete a class evaluation that will be provided. These are reviewed following the weekend by the Smoky Mountain Weekend Committee and the information we gather helps us identify changes for the next year. Many of the changes that occurred this year are a result of feedback from past years.

Once again, we are thrilled that you are here and want to emphasize the importance enjoying your learning experience. Throughout the weekend, for any questions or concerns, please contact any event staff member wearing a red Smoky Mountain Weekend polo.

Sincerely,

Sevier County Fire Chiefs Association

NOTE: FOR EACH CLASS THAT STATES "(CLASS 1) OR (CLASS 2)" YOU DO NOT HAVE TO REGISTER FOR BOTH CLASSES, THAT IS THE SAME CLASS OFFERED AT TWO DIFFERENT TIMES.
