Description

The San Mateo Environmental Learning Collaborative (SMELC) is a semester long professional learning program that takes a cohort of teachers through the process of designing and implementing project-based and place-based units of study, centered around California’s Environmental Principles and Concepts (EP&Cs) and relevant standards. The requirements for this program are the following:

  • 4 Day Summer Institute (completed in Summer 2019)
  • Draft and Implement a Solutionary Unit of Study
  • Complete a Finalized Solutionary Unit of Study Write-Up
  • Deliver a Capstone Presentation

This registration is for the Capstone Event on Monday February 24th. Even if you are working on a team, each individual needs to register for the event.

A vegetarian dinner will be provided. However, if you have specialized dietary restrictions, please plan to bring your own meal.

Parking: Parking is available at SMCOE, and carpooling is encouraged! Additional parking is available at 303 Twin Dolphin Drive, Provident Credit Union parking garage, 2nd deck only.
