We all know that photos have been the hot commodity and common currency on social media, but did you know video is where it is going? In fact, most brands are already using video in their content marketing plans. Video is a great way to tell a deeper, richer story, and to engage your community through storytelling.
A recent example of how video is being used for storytelling is in Chipotle's recent video, The Scarecrow. Read more about it in this article by Mike Stelzner of Social Media Examiner.
Learn from Hawaii's local experts who will discuss how they are using video in their content strategy, and teach specific techniques on how to create video content with resources big and small.

Brad Watanabe, Berad Studio
It all started back in high school when Brad "borrowed" his mom's VHS-C camcorder. Hoping to become the James Cameron of skate and surf videos, he spent more time capturing kick flips and editing epic waves than riding a board. He started his career working for Motion Theory, an award-winning design and video production firm in Los Angeles, where he worked on commercials and music videos for clients like Nike, HP, Cadillac and R.E.M. Brad transitioned home to Hawaii to be closer to family and continued to edit and animate as a freelancer. Eventually, Brad decided to pursue his dream of building a production company of his own, and Berad Studio was born. Brad subsequently began blogging about his adventures in the Hawaii video production industry, and he established HawaiiShoots.com as a venue to dialogue with others, host regular meet-ups and workshops, and grow and build the production community.
