Event Details

Platforms like the Arduino or the Intel Galileo enable the creation of custom Smart Devices. Such Smart Devices allow to sense and actuate their environment via locally or remotely running software programs. Realizing scenarios via software is called Software Orchestration.

In this workshop we will start with an overview on Software Orchestration projects from the smart space, and the intergalactical space science.

The involved projects are:

  • Building as a Service (http://www.baas-itea2.eu/)
  • Individualisierbares Energiecontrollingsystem mit Mandantenfähigkeit (http://idem-project.de/)
  • Student Satellite Initiative Munich e.V. (http://ssimuc.de/)

The main part is a hands-on session with the Intel Galileo platform that is held by Intel.

After the hands-on session the implemented smart projects will be presented.

At the evening a get-together with the participants and technicians from Intel is scheduled.

Places are limited so please register.
