Technology Integration Group (TIG), in partnership with the Smart Cities Council, is hosting an education session and workshop for local City / County government IT leadership, to learn more about –

  • How Cities and Counties are using IoT technology for the betterment of their agencies
  • How use of IoT meets initiatives of Cities and Counties, and improves the citizens’ interaction with government - driving public engagement with technology
  • Best practices and standards for new IOT deployments
  • Best practices in laying wired & wireless network infrastructure foundation for a successful Smart City / use of IoT
  • Data driven decision making with IoT
  • Security, as it relates to IoT
  • What are the practical areas that see an immediate ROI. How is ROI realized - less city staff, reduced costs to citizens, quicker response to citizens, lower costs that result in reduction of something
  • How to develop Roadmaps for future growth
  • Smart City Readiness Challenge
  • How TIG and our related Partners can help

Hear from Jesse Berst, Chairman of the Smart Cities Council – “The goal of the Smart Cities Council is to help city leaders create a vision, build an action plan and measure the success of their smart city initiatives. We are delighted to work with TIG to help cities and counties better understand the technologies that will enhance livability, workability and sustainability in their communities.”

Christian Rolland, TIG Sr. Practice Director for Enterprise Networking + Wireless & Security, will lead a Workshop session exploring what you need to consider when beginning the move to becoming a “Smart City or County”, and how to make IoT work for your organization. An information-packed session, will include a checklist to take back to your organization.
