Description

SmallBizzBuzz

Smallbizzbuzz is a collaboration of business coaches providing strategic initiatives to start-ups and small business owners as well as a mastermind network.

Description

Building a business can be exciting and challenging. As one build, it is natural to put your life into your business. However, it is important to not let your business become your life. If you are not careful, it could lead to a burnout. High pressure can be a motivator but too much pressure can be damaging--emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually.

One of the reasons why small businesses fail is due to unwillingness to delegate. Sure, it may be difficult to let go of certain responsibilities. However, learning to delegate is essential when you don't have the time or skills to perform certain tasks. Doing so, can help give you the time needed to focus on strategizing and growing your business.

Join us to discover ways to stay active in the RVA community, enjoy networking and open discussions with other local entrepreneurs and small business owners and receive valuable tips on how to maintain a healthy business-life balance!

October is Eat Better, Eat Together Month. Not only do we inspire to help with the development of our business community, we inspire to promote family meal time. Family meals are important and can help make a difference in overall family health. For the attendees, help us make a difference and provide nutritional meals to the community. We wish to provide 100 meals (1.2lbs = 1 meal). Each attendee is encouraged to bring perishable and non-perishable food items for our Food Drive. The perishable and non-perishable food items will go to FeedMore. The attendee that brings the most items, will win a $20 Tropical Smoothie Gift Card!

Dresscode: Business Casual (No tennis shoes, sneakers, jeans or hat)
