Description

To create great products, companies need to staff teams with people who think differently from one another so that they can remind us of our blind spots and lead us to better experiences for all users. A diverse team is not built by cutting and pasting rather it comes about through conscious assembling different individuals and personalities. Come and meet some of these amazing Designers, Coders and Unicorns that make an impact on their team and company’s products.

Speakers:

Designer: Shiae Park is a staff UI/UX designer at Qualcomm. She focuses on creating meaningful and intuitive user experience through design in various area such as mobile phone, web apps, wearables, automotive and more.

Coder: Amanda Pattridge is an application developer and team dev lead at TechFlow. She has a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and worked as a lab technician and ESL teacher before transitioning to software engineering in 2016

Unicorn: Elina Kim is a Sr Design Technologist at Intuit. She is a design thinker at heart who enjoys designing in code. She is passionate about bringing ideas to life using different prototyping tools and promoting the “show and tell” principle.
