ABOUT THIS EVENT

This conference is designed for all Small Group pastors and leaders, walking you through the philosophy and practicals of building a healthy small group ministry. You will take a 360-degree view of a purpose-driven small groups ministry and then work on incremental steps towards building small groups with purpose. The conference not only gives you a fresh take at your small groups ministry or stimulating ideas to implement in your small groups, but you will leave with practical tools to bring health into your small groups.

** The conference will be conducted in English, with Cantonese simultaneous interpretation. Attendance is limited to give you more interaction with other participants.

CONFERENCE SPEAKERS

STEVE GLADEN:

Steve has been Pastor of Small Groups at Saddleback Church since February 1998 and serves as an Elder of the church. He oversees the strategic launch and spiritual development of over 7,000 adult small groups on multiple campuses. He has authored Small Groups With Purpose, which has been translated into eleven languages to date, Leading Small Groups With Purpose and Planning Small Groups With Purpose. He has a driving passion to see each church attendee connected to a qualified shepherd and become an integral part of their church body, living purpose driven lives for Christ. He frequently speaks at conferences and consults with church leaders from many denominations both in the United States and around the world.

DAVE ALFORD:

Dave is Pastor of Leadership Development at Saddleback Church where his team oversees small groups, next steps, interns, and ministries to men, women, and singles. He served for 10 years as executive pastor and lead pastor at churches in the San Fernando Valley in Southern California helping them transition out of financial challenges and into a renewed vision for mission. He served for 12 years at Vanguard University first as Vice President for Business and Finance, and later as Dean of the School of Business and Management. Dave also writes, coaches, and speaks about leadership. He has a Bachelors degree from UC Davis, an MBA from USC, and a doctorate from Pepperdine University.

大會講員

史提夫．革登 (Steve Gladen)：

史提夫由 1998 年二月起擔任馬鞍峰教會的小組牧師，並以長老身份服侍教會。他負責管理多個分堂裡超過7,000 個成人小組的開展策略及屬靈成長。他著有《標竿小組 – 小組持續健康發展綱領》(Small Groups with Purpose)，現已被翻譯為十一種語言，《標竿領導在小組》(Leading Small Groups With Purpose) 和 “Planning Small Groups With Purpose”。 他熱衷於讓每位參與教會的人連繫到勝任的牧者，並成為教會身子不可或缺的一部分，為基督活出目的導向的生命。他時常在大會中演說，並在美國及世界各地為不同宗派的教會領袖提供建言。

戴夫．歐佛 (Dave Alford):

戴夫是馬鞍峰教會的領袖培訓牧師，他的團隊負責管理小組、跟進會眾回應、實習生、男士事工、女士事工、與及單身人士事工。他在南加州聖費爾南多谷的多間教會擔任行政牧師及主任牧師10 年，幫助他們走出財政困難，更新對使命的異象。他先在南加州先鋒大學擔任企業及財務學副校長12 年，及後成為企業及管理學院的院長。戴夫也是作家、教練、及領導力講員。他擁有加利福尼亞大學戴維斯分校的學位、南加利福尼亞大學的工商管理碩士學位、以及珮珀代因大學的博士學位。
