Event description

Description

On a quarterly basis, Mission Triangle teaches on one of the three core nonprofit competencies: Biblical Leadership, Organizational Effectiveness, Sustainable Service.

Our focus for the second quarter of 2019 is Biblical Leadership, teaching specifically on Staff Leadership.  As a follow-up to the workshops delivered in April/May, this small group discussion on Leveraging the Strengths of Your Team + Team Conversations is being offered in order to help your organization take some next steps.

This small group will provide you, the leader, with tools to help you bring out the best in each member of your team for the benefit of your mission. The small group will be heavy on instruction with time for Q&A and tips surrounding application in your setting.

You will be equipped to use the following tools:

  • DARE: Communication Preference

  • Enneagram Assessment: A person’s motivation (assessment will be made available at a reduced rate)

  • Team Profile Organizer (everyone is different – how to you lead them well)

  • Team Conversation Tools (How to leverage the input of everyone not just the most vocal)

Teacher: Jim Dotson

“The leader reaches inside each employee and releases his unique talents into performance for the benefit of the mission. Leaders speed up the reaction between the employee’s talents and the organization’s goals. The best way to help individuals achieve their goals is by helping them become more of who they already are.” (Understanding Leadership, WCH Prentice)
