Event Details

Small Development Roundtable

The political, design, economic, and social impacts of large infill development are increasingly being felt in Boston and cities across the country. Yet, even as historic neighborhoods of small mixed-use and multifamily buildings soar in value, very little new development is taking this smaller, more incremental, more diverse form. How can we unlock small-scale development in Boston and New England? Join developers, planners, architects, activists, entrepreneurs and others for a series of discussions on rejuvenating the practice of incremental development. The roundtable sessions will be hosted the second Thursday of each month at RE|Work coworking space in Boston's Back Bay from 6 to 8pm.

Pre-registration is required for building security purposes. Please enter the names of attendees for each ticket purchase. Admission fee supports food and beer. Capacity is limited, so register now -- we look forward to your participation!

"Boutique Hotel Development in transforming American Cities" with Jenna Goldman

Jenna is the Director of Development at ASH NYC, a Real Estate Development and Interior Design firm. ASH NYC is one of the few mid-scale developers in the country that develops and designs every inch of their hotels from the inside out. In 2014, ASH NYC opened the Dean, an innovative new boutique hotel in Providence, RI. Come hear about the design and development process for creating a key urban catalyst.
