Event Details

This seminar will provide helpful information in regards to how you can start-up your business with a business sense and the right tools.  Knowing if you are setting up your business the right way from the start, will save you time and headache later.  Even if you have already started your business and need a refresher, you will gain information to determine if your business is set up correctly.

The speakers will engage the attendees and answer questions at the end of the presentation. The speaker will have handouts and great material to help you determine the best course of action for your business.  Attendees should bring a notebook for notes and questions.

Tabitha w/ Tabitha Speaks Business

Tabitha Hollimon EA is the owner of Avail Tax and Consulting, LLC.  She is an enrolled agent with the Internal Revenue Service which gives her office the ability to represent taxpayers and business owners for tax issues before the IRS and state tax agencies.  She is known to be personable and knowledgeable.  


Tabitha Speaks Business was established to offer educational seminars and workshops for small business owners and individual taxpayers.  As a small business owner herself, she has experience with starting a business from zero clients to over 150 clients.  She has several stories of how not to run business and successful to tools and methods to sustain your business.  With her knowledge, small business owners will be provided with guidance on how to start a business and select the appropriate business entity; tax implications among the different business entities; basic payroll guidance, and provide other important information regarding owning a business as a sole proprietor, partnership, and S-Corporation.  

Depending on the business's industry, the tax treatment among the business owner(s) will depend on the entity structure.  Developing a strategic plan from the beginning, the business could suffer and have to rebuild later.
