Small Business Ownership is a wonderful thing. Though, when your revenue is smaller than expected, seasonal or just not there because of the following, you're definitely not on the winning end of things: market changes; advancement in technology that replaces your service; or simply because your clients are asking for a service that you simply do not have the expertise to provide. You MUST restrategize because you told yourself that 2017 will be the year of vision and victory for your business! Besides, you don't have to quit doing what you already do, but can enhance your services by offering more added value to your business.
You're already in the business of CPA services, real estate or some other, non-tangible resource, so why not expand, educate yourself and grow in other areas, such as life insurance and/or financial services, (that will still help your existing client base)? Why limit the capacity to which your revenue can grow, when, with financial services and life insurance, the sky is the limit?
