Are you ready to start a business, but not sure how to do it?

Do you have a business, but you are struggling with a few key pieces? Have you read books and listened to lectures, but still aren’t sure what specific action you need to take?

Tulsa Tech and Prodigy & Co have the Business Bootcamp made for you. Don’t just learn the important aspects of starting a business, reaching customers, and streamlining your processes, but put that learning into action and make progress in your business during every class.

Come to one or two classes on the specific areas where you are struggling, or go through the entire program to make sure you have the best foundation to start and grow your business.

Class 1: November 8, 2016 11:30a-1:00p

Business Basics / Where to Start & What to do When

What steps should you take and in what order when you are just getting started? Not sure when you should register your business, or if you need a tax ID, bank account, or operating agreement? This class is for you. Learn the basics of getting started and make sure you cover all the bases.

Class 2: December 6, 2016 11:30a-1:00p

Solving the Right Problem / Finding Product-Market Fit

Is your idea good and will people pay for it? You have a great business idea – at least in your mind. How do you find out if it others agree, if people will pay for it and if it will actually turn a profit? Learn the ins and outs of customer outreach and feedback including finding the real problems your customers deal with and how to make their lives easier.

Getting the Word Out / Creative Sales and Marketing

Where are your customers and how do you reach them? You know who your potential customers are, now you just need them to know who you are. Where can you find them (online and locally) and what is the best way to get their attention? Come learn about product and service marketing, how to write marketing material and sale pages, and the keys to effective selling.

Building and Developing your Offering and Operations

How do you make your business work day to day? You feel good about your idea and your potential customer base, but now how do you deliver your product or service to them? What is your process for delivering, do you need a team, should you outsource, and what about partners? Learn about all these things and get your day to day operations up and running.

Systems, Efficiency, and Productivity

What should you systematize and streamline early on to maximize your success? You have heard you need systems for: accounting, HR and payroll, CRM, social media, your mailing list, sales pages and funnels, project management, and so much more. How do you pick and choose what will be best for your business? Find out what systems make the most sense, given your situation and trajectory.

Class 6: April 4, 2017 11:30a-1:00p

Working with the Government

Assist in finding business opportunities, clearing technical hurdles and developing marketing strategies in government market. Businesses will also know how to bid for government contracts, learning about tax credits, ensuring proper tax filings
