Description

Learn everything you need to know to prevent doing damage control during our next Small Broker Meetup about Risk Management Practices for Real Estate Brokerages. Jim Reed, Real Estate Litigation Attorney with Babb, Reed & Leak, PLLC, believes there are seven topics agents need to focus on when it comes to reducing risk and avoiding mistakes that leave you open to liability.

He calls these his "Magnificent Seven" which include:

  • antitrust risk management,
  • mastering the contract to reduce risk, and
  • creating and sticking to a social media policy for your agents.

About Jim Reed
Jim Reed specializes in handling real estate transactions and real estate litigation. A board-certified specialist in commercial and residential real estate, he has been providing personal, professional representation to his clients since 1995, helping them find affordable solutions to their real estate problems.

Jim's practice includes real estate & business transactions and related litigation, including entity formation, contract negotiation, and disputes, title insurance claims, real estate brokerage and licensing, mechanics' and materialmen's liens, landlord/tenant matters, easements, clearing titles, and deed restrictions.
