small batch:big thirst is an opportunity for the beer geek in all of us to try the specialty batches of our local favorite breweries and some of the up and coming small batch brewers. small batch will be the first of many beer garden style events driven by brewtruc. the beer tasting supports not only the thriving brewing community in the bay area, but raises funds for the charities supported by the night train swimmers. all proceeds will be donated to this group who swim around the world raising awareness for our wounded veterans.
this year the small batch:big thirst gives the beer drinker the chance to determine the winner of the small batch competition. in september the ingredients of 1 of the beers the brewers must bring were selected via dart toss. come taste, judge and vote for your favorite!
we have arranged for 5 hour parking for $5 (normally $15). please carpool or take public transportation.
