SLV Lean In Lunch with Emelin Martinez

SLV Lean In is excited to announce our next Lean In Lunch on April 13, 2017. We will welcome guest speaker Emelin Martinez, Assistant Chief Medical Officer for Valley-Wide Health Systems.
Martinez is a Family Nurse Practitioner and graduated from the University of New Mexico with dual Master’s degrees in Primary Care and Southwest Studies. In addition to working with Valley-Wide Health Systems, she worked for the University of Colorado Department, of Preventive Medicine on research projects involving diabetes in children throughout Colorado and families in the San Luis Valley. Within the past year she assumed the position of Assistant Chief Medical Officer for Valley-Wide and is involved in continuous quality improvement and population health management. Her practice is located at Sierra Blanca Medical Center. Additionally, she is a trained and fabulous chef!

Do I have to purchase a ticket ahead of time/reserve my seat?
Yes, we ask that all attendees purchase tickets ahead of time. Space is limited and we only purchase enough food for those that purchase tickets, so unfortantely we are unable to accomodate same-day registrations. If you are unsure whether you can attend or not, you're welcome to join our wait list, and if we get last-minute cancelations, we'll contact you to attend. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to join the wait list.
Are there assigned seats?
While you won’t be assigned to a specific seat, we do assign guests to specific tables. We do this to create a supportive environment to meet new people and network. You'll receive your table assignment at the door.
Is there a wait list if this event sells out?
Yes. If you are unable to purchase a ticket once we sell out, please add your name to the wait list and you will be notified if a ticket opens up. Please check your email regularly for updates, as we likely will have very last minute cancelations, and if you do not claim your ticket within 1 hour, we will offer the available ticket to the next person on our wait list.
Is my ticket transferrable?
We are unable to provide refunds or transfer tickets to future events at this time. However, if you are unable to make it to an event but purchased a ticket, you are welcome to give your ticket to someone else. Please just provide them with a printoff of your ticket that they can bring with them to the event.
