About SLUT
SLUT is an exciting new web series written by Jose Useche, a Latinx writer, producer, and performer from Queens, NY. SLUT explores themes of white privilege, interracial relationships, slut-shaming, and the importance/rarity of platonic gay friendships. You can view our official trailer here. We're ready to release, and want you to party with us!
SLUT follows a promiscuous dancer from New York City who loses everything in an act of infidelity. In an effort to escape himself and his problems he moves to Ohio with his aunt, learning about what it means to be queer and brown in a very white space. SLUT's primary value is representation, with a queer dominated core creative team and a soundtrack featuring only the music of queer and/or POC artists.
For more information on SLUT check out our Indiegogo, Facebook, and Instagram. Can't make our event but still want to help! We're always looking for donations and in-kind donations on later shooting episodes! Get in contact with Leigh Honigman for details.
