A Global SOLIDWORKS User Group Event

On December 7th, CMA-SWUG & BANSWUG join together for a historic user group meeting. For the first time ever, a user group presentation will be live-streamed to dozens of other user groups across the country and around the world. We'll also be hosting some very special guests, including SOLIDWORKS developers and executives.  Vendors, recruiters, and companies for across New England will be on-site for networking and consultation. This is shaping up to be one of the largest user-driven SOLIDWORKS events ever!

Join Andrew Barnes and Michael Kalin as they pay tribute to the end of a scientific legacy with their own version of Mythbusters, using SolidWorks Simulation. They’ll conduct experiments, verify theories in simulation, and confirm or bust a several engineering myths.   Get ready for the most fun you'll ever have with Simulation!

Large Assembly Best Practices

Tom Cote (Applied CAD Solutions)


Tom will review his presentation from SOLIDWORKS 2016 and discuss how to get your large models to perform more efficiently, which features and options have a negative &/or positive impact on performance, and some new 2017 features to enhance your large assembly modeling experience.

Daniel Herzberg, of MegaHertz Modeling & Design and Jenike & Johanson, is an aerospace engineer by education, and a SolidWorks user by passion. He teaches SolidWorks at User Group meetings and non-profit organizations.

Tom Cote is the founder of Applied CAD Solutions, and consults accross the gobe on 3D CAD and Data Management applications.
