This educational opportunity will focus on improving the accuracy and reliability of a practicing clinician’s interpretation of instrumental swallowing assessments and the rationale for choosing the appropriate instrumental study. The course will include a review a variety of techniques and sources of error and bias in assessment. During this session the clinician will review clinical scenarios and tape-recorded segments of Videofluoroscopic Swallowing Studies and FEES and will be able to provide anonymous responses to the presenter’s stimulus questions by using hand held keypads that communicate with the presenter’s computer.
