They hope that their flavors give you a reason to smile and jump for joy!
Come on out to meet other Slow Food DC members while learning how to discern ice cream quality and appreciate their unique and delicious flavors. At the conclusion of the event everyone will take home two pints of Ice Cream Jubliee's ice-cream!
The foundation of any good ice cream is its cream. For this reason Ice Cream Jubilee sources its cream from Slow Food DC Snail of Approval Winner South Mountain Creamery of Middletown, Maryland, only 50 miles outside of Washington, DC. South Mountain Creamery was the first Maryland creamery to build a farm processing plant, meaning this family-owned business is responsible for the milk they produce from cow to bottle. South Mountain Creamery is Certified Humane, local, and produces the all-natural products that make Ice Cream Jubilee's ice cream delicious rich and flavorful.
Ice Cream Jubilee is currently the only DC-owned-and-operated ice cream scoop shop and they are proud to support local farmers producers when creating their delicious flavors!
Slow Food DC believes that by understanding where your food comes from, how it is produced and by whom, adults and children can learn how to combine pleasure and responsibility in daily choices and appreciate the cultural and social importance of food.
