Slow Art Day - Hammer Museum in Los Angeles
Sat, April 8, 2017, 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM PDT
Join us and look at art slowly!
Slow Art Day is an international annual event to promote art viewing at a relaxed pace. Just like other Slow movements, the idea is to take time from our hectic lives and really savor something - in this case, some art! We'll look at only 5 pieces in one hour, then we'll have lunch together and discuss what we've experienced.
We'll focus on pieces from both the permanent collection and the Jean Dubuffet exhibit at the Hammer Museum.
Admission to the galleries is free but you will pay for your own lunch at the Cafe. Parking is $6 (cash only) at the Hammer lot, accessible from Westwood Blvd just north of Wilshire.
