The Jamboree is a show that blends the best in touring headliners with vetted, local comedians. The host, feature and headliner are always SLOFunny headliners, and the line up changes every month!

Friday, June 9th will be the3rd chapter in our SLOFunny Comedy series hosted by Dave DeVito, with local comedians Fabian Acuna & Kelsie Rae, Special Guest Amir Kabiri, Featuring Melissa Shoshahi and Headliner Nick Hoff.

Dave is an absolutely hilarious comedian who's take on even the simplest things you see will have you rolling on the floor. His combination of wit, wisdom and common sense will have you laughing throughout the show. He has entertained aboard the largest cruise ships in the world for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, brought his act to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, and toured all over the continent of Australia. Dave was voted “Best Stand-Up” at The Los Angeles Comedy Festival, “Best of the Fest” at the San Luis Obispo Comedy Festival, and was a member of the 1998 Rutgers University Intramural Flag Football Championship Team.

Local Comedians Fabian Acuna & Kelsie Rae

• Kelsie Rae is a Central Coast comedian with a huge comedic personality. Her style and stage presence are as fierce as she is. You will enjoy every minute of laughter.

• Fabian Acuna has very unique way of looking at the world and it fuels his comedic style, blending his views on modern life and his experiences as a Lantin X American. He performs all over the Central Coast.

• Special Guest: Amir Kabiri

Amir Kabiri is a Los Angeles based stand-up comedian. Originally from the South, he brings a unique and witty point of view to the stage making audiences laugh all over the world. Amir recently featured at the Orpheum Theater in Vancouver. Having shared the stage with Bill Burr, Dane Cook, and Max Amini, he performs regularly at the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles and has made appearance at colleges throughout North America. We're super grateful to welcome Amir to The Laugh Cellar stage!

• Featuring Melissa Shoshahi

Melissa Shoshahi is an Iranian American award winning stand-up comedian, actress and digital content creator. She has toured all over the country and world, delighting audiences near and far with her witty personality, cultural impressions and unique perspectives on life as a second generation Iranian woman - all while still being a disappoint to her family. As a digital creator, Melissa’s broad range of characters in her sketches have created a large fan base, accumulating in millions of views online. She has been featured on Laughs on Fox, All Def digital, Nickelodeon, HULU and has acted in a myriad of independent films."I want to bring peace through laughter. I'd love to share my jokes with the world and also inspire other women who may have always wanted to perform but who have been culturally deprived or too scared to step up and get out there too!" -Melissa Shoshahi

• Headliner by Nick Hoff

Nick Hoff is a nationally touring stand-up comedian who has been on MTV, co-hosts a weekly show on SiriusXM, and was a featured act in Netflix’s Comedy Festival. His debut album “Baby Daddy” hit #1 on the iTunes comedy charts, and his new hour-long special “Front to Back” can be streamed on YouTube. When he’s not on stage, Nick can often be seen in commercials for Miller Lite, Pepsi and Amazon. His comedy revolves his family life and the rollercoaster that is fatherhood.
