During The #Slinkythink Sessons, we're covering a new topic every two weeks, diving in into the three pillars of our mission:

PEOPLE

CULTURE

AGILE

You decide what we talk about. We deliver you impactful insights, perspectives, and strategies you can add to your toolkit to empower your professional and personal journey.

These webinars are free and open to the public. Like multitasking? There's no such thing, but we get it that life's busy. That's ok - we'd still love to have you. This is a view-only webinar. Just grab some headphones, log in, and we'll take care of the rest. You'll have the chance to engage with us directly via Zoom chat.

A bit about this webinar...

As described in the Scrum.org Scrum Guide, a Sprint Retrospective the team discusses:

  • What went well in the Sprint?

  • What could be improved?

  • What will we commit to improve in the next Sprint?

Sure it seems simple - ask these questions at the end of a sprint, and each individual within the team will willingly share their faults, struggles, and in turn, challenge each other to be better as well. But as you can imagine, running a quality Retrospective is often difficult because it requires a sense of vulnerability and safety within the team to share with one another that isn't always present.

Retrospectives always involve humans, and humans are complicated. So how can we be more open with one another while still being respectful and productive?

Join us for this free webinar, where we'll...

  • Dive into the basics of the Retrospective - not only WHAT great Retrospectives look like, but taking a closer look at WHY these events truly matter.

  • Uncover a variety of communicative strategies and soft skills you can use to bring new life into these crucial conversations through openess, honesty, and trust.

  • Unpack creative ways of utilizing the latest technology for fostering meaningful, quality Retrospectives for any and all teams, distributed or not.

Ultimately, you'll leave with a better understanding of how to faciliate Retrospectives while feeling more empowered to lead your teams to truly seizing opportunities for continuous improvement.
