Thinking about taking Concurrent Enrollment courses? Bring your friends and come learn if concurrent courses are the right fit for you and how to be successful in the courses you choose to take! The New Student Orientation is for students trying to decide if concurrent enrollment is the right fit, students that plan to take concurrent enrollment courses or students that have recently enrolled in their first SLCC concurrent enrollment class. The orientation will cover policies and procedures surrounding concurrent enrollment, the benefit of taking concurrent enrollment courses, how to apply your concurrent enrollment credits, academic advising tips and trick for navigating college.
It is crucial that you, as a student, attend these meetings, so you have a firm understanding of concurrent enrollment, procedures, courses, academic planning. A parent and/or guardian is welcome to attend with you if you choose.
Presentation will begin at 4:30 with a Question and Answer time at the end.
