In this 3-part parent workshop, participants will learn what Executive Functioning (EF) means, how break downs in Executive Functioning skills impact daily life for teens and how to scaffold Executive Functioning skills in the home and school settings. Join
During the first meeting, parents will learn about EF skills and will be sent home with EF screening tool to complete with their teen. During the second meeting, parents will look over strengths, weaknesses and dive into understanding their teen’s perspective -- and how they might lead to day-to-day break downs or success. The last meeting will discuss tools for parents (or caregivers) to support their teens in developing skills and building on strengths.
Parents of high school students and 8th graders are invite to attend this 3-part in person session in Palo Alto, CA.
