About Skillshare: Somerville Skillshare is a free monthly learning event that features classes around any innovative topic and we encourage locals to teach it. It’s a way to learn new skills, jump-start new hobbies, and meet other people with similar interests, all in a fun and informal setting.
Session Description: This session will start with a guided meditation and then move on to provide you with resources on how to bring stress management techniques into different settings of your life.
About the facilitator: Adrienne Sharigian started partaking in wellness practices as a high school student, which eventually brought her to study tai chi with Taoist monks in the Yunnan province of China in 2009. The energetic flow of tai chi complemented the practice of Amrit yoga, which became her sacred practice during college. After college, Adrienne received 300 RYT from the Amrit Yoga Institute in Florida through two separate 6 month trainings in Amrit yoga nidra facilitation and Amrit yoga teacher training in 2011.
