Description
Sometimes we all struggle to manage our emotions. It can be hard to know the right thing to do when somebody in your shared space is struggling to manage their emotions. Leaders, instructors, and community members can gain a few practical skills including:
- How to support and diffuse emotions and behavior resulting from frustration, anger, triggering and fear
- How to create safety in shared spaces
Soft Skills for Shared Spaces is a workshop series is specifically designed to address needs in makerspaces and shared space communities. Geared towards leaders and instructors is series also covers valuable skills community members in a variety of settings.
We have a limited number of sponsored tickets for each workshop. Contact officers@acemonstertoys.org to request a sponsored tickets if finances are an issue.
