Learn about great opportunities to train for a new career!

All skills courses deliver relevant and rigorous training and technical learning experiences that prepares enlisted service members to transition smoothly and successfully into the workforce.

Representatives from each skills course will provide course specific information and answer questions.

All courses offer a high probability of post-service meaningful employment at no cost or minimal cost as they offer a guaranteed job interview.

Come Gather Information Directly From The Training Providers!

Current Courses Available:

  1. Veteran in Piping (VIP) - Placement as a journey-person in a paid apprenticeship program in welding and steam-pipe fitting.

  2. Microsoft Software & Systems Academy (MSSA) - Secure IT employment at Microsoft or one of its affiliate partners.

  3. Onward to Opportunity (O2O): Prepare for Customer Service or Information Technology job with partner employers.

  4. Warrior Training Advancement Course (WARTAC) - Train for employment as a Veterans Service Rep with the Department of Veteran Affairs.

  5. Warriors to Water (W2W) – Learn water treatment or water distribution through on-the-job training while preparing for a California certification.

  6. Archi’s Institute for Sustainable Agriculture (AISA) – Learn sustainable farming and hands-on hydroponic greenhouse management to prepare for agribusiness career.

  7. First Responder – Earn your national EMT certification and prepare for a career in emergency medical field.

  8. New courses may be announced.

    Additional information: In accordance with MARADMIN 550/13 (Voluntary Employment Skills Training Programs) candidates must receive authorization from Commanders to participate. Waivers will be accepted for non-First Term Marines (Careerist).
