Earn your official SketchUp Bootcamp Certification this summer as we travel to four different cities for 2-day, comprehensive beginner training. Each class will be tailored to users with little to no prior experience with 3D modeling. We’ll cover concepts and skills that are essential for any aspiring SketchUpper, such as 3D navigation, drawing fundamentals, and model organization. Class sizes are limited to create the optimal, hands-on learning experience so register today! Design it, make it and continue your SketchUp education with confidence after this hands-on class.

What time does the class start/end?

Class begins promptly at 8:15 am and ends between 5:00 pm - 5:30 pm each day. To view the full syllabus check out our event website.

What's included with your ticket?

Two full days of hands-on, fundamental SketchUp training, access to SketchUp trainers, lunch both days, graduation, an official certificate of completion, and networking opportunities.

What should I bring into the event?

Bring a notebook, your own laptop, charger, and any adapters you might need. Laptops are REQUIRED for our hands-on class. Also, make sure to bring a 3-button, scroll-wheel mouse. You may or may not use one in the future, but trust us: a 3-button mouse is the best way to learn (and model in) SketchUp. What type of computer do I need to bring?

Like many computer programs, SketchUp Pro requires certain hardware and software specifications in order to install and run. Minimum hardware requirements:

  • 1 GHz processor
  • 4GB RAM
  • 500MB of free hard-disk space
  • 3D class video card with 512 MB of memory or higher and support for hardware acceleration. Please ensure that the video card driver supports OpenGL 3.0 or higher and is up to date

What do I need to know before coming to class?

Make sure that you have downloaded SketchUp Pro 2019. To facilitate class starting on time, make sure you have authorized SketchUp with your training license and have run the program at least once. There were also be pre-work that you will need to complete before training starts. This pre-work will be emailed to you a week before class starts. If you do not have a SketchUp Pro 2019 subscription, we will provide a temporary license key one week before class starts.
