Nature Sketching and Journaling Club

Dates: Wednesday, October 11, 2017

Time:  5:30 pm to 7:30 pm

Instructors:   Deryn Davidson, Sharon Bokan and Roberta Johnston

Cost:  Free

Limited to 20 students

This is a free class and will only be held if we have at least 10 class members committed. Please sign up only if you are sure you can attend.

Guest Speaker:  Heidi Skiba, Education Specialist, Jefferson County Open Space will be teaching about Colors. 

Description:  The limited colors in our painting palette rarely matches the endless hues found in the natural world.  Working indoors while using natural objects, discover strategies for mixing a wide variety of colors including earthy Browns and subtle grays.

Please bring the following items:

Your own sketchbook, if you have one and any art supplies you would like to use.  We have some supplies for you to use.

Optional 5 pm potluck

The mission of the Native Plant Master Program is to educate the public about native plants in order to foster stewardship, sustainable landscaping and management of weeds that threaten native ecosystems.
