Unexpected Productions' Market Theater is located downtown in Pike Place Market, in the heart of Seattle's Tourist District. On foot, go to the main entrance of the Pike Place Market at 1st and Pike. There, you'll find Rachel, Pike Place Market's full size brass piggy bank, beneath the neon sign and clock, right by the famous Pike Place Fish Company. From the pig, go down the stairs and around the corner into Post Alley, where you'll find the Unexpected Productions at the Market Theater, along with the famous Gum Wall! 1428 Post Alley Seattle, WA 98101 Phone: 206.587.2414 Fax: 206.587.2414 Email: info@unexpectedproductions.org Unexpected Productions Policies and Information • By purchasing a ticket, you agree to follow all safety protocols at the theater. • With the recent change in state and local public health guidance, Unexpected Productions has revised its health and safety requirements for patrons. Shows will no longer require all patrons to be vaccinated. There will be no separate sections for vaccinated or unvaccinated patrons, nor any distancing requirements. We have implemented the following mask policy, effective July 1, 2021: Patrons who are not fully COVID vaccinated are required to wear masks. Individuals who are fully vaccinated are not required to wear a mask, but are welcome to do so. • All sales are final and nonrefundable. There are no refunds, exchanges or transfers. • If a performance is canceled, a full refund will be provided through Eventbrite to the credit card used to purchase your ticket • Print your ticket and receipt at the time of your web purchase or you may pick up your ticket at Will Call at the Box Office • All seating is on a first come first served basis • General Admission does not ensure that your entire party will sit together. If you have a larger group, please arrive early enough to be seated together • Box Office opens 30 minutes prior to show time • House opens for general seating approximately 20 minutes prior to show times. Show times may vary so please confirm the time for your show • Valid Photo ID and the Credit Card you made the reservation with must be presented to pick up Tickets. Tickets will only be released to the purchaser unless prior arrangements have been made with the Unexpected Productions • Tickets not picked up by show time may be released to the public for resale • Attendance at Unexpected Productions’ is your tacit permission for us to use your still or moving images for marketing and/or fundraising purposes • A NOTE ABOUT CONTENT: Unless otherwise noted all 8:30pm and 10:30pm performances are rated PG13. While Unexpected Productions always strives to present material that is generally appropriate for teen and adult audience ALL AGES ARE WELCOME. Due to the unpredictable and audience participatory nature of improvisation, it is impossible to guarantee content. • Carrying of firearms is prohibited at Unexpected Productions and the Market Theater. • For everyone's safety, we reserve the right to check bags • Any guests engaging in any disruptive, loud or drunken can be removed from the premise without a refund. (Please don’t be that person). Please see the box office or bar to report any incidents that may inhibit the enjoyment of your time at Unexpected Productions. As of August 23, 2021, Unexpected Productions will require proof of vaccination for entry to all performances at the Market Theater. Those individuals unable to be fully vaccinated, including children under 12, must have proof of a negative Covid test (taken within 72 hours of performance). Unexpected Productions staff will check for proof of vaccination and negative Covid tests at the doors as a condition of entry. Additionally, masking is required inside the venue. Patrons and employees will be required to wear masks, except while actively eating or drinking. Vaccinations are also required for all Unexpected Productions’ artists and performers, staff, including tech crew, front of house staff, and back-office staff. Proof of COVID vaccination is required for entry. Patrons unable to be vaccinated can show proof of negative COVID test. FULLY-VACCINATED PATRONS A patron vaccinated against COVID-19 by a two-dose mRNA vaccine (such as Moderna and Pfizer), or a single dose vaccine (such as Johnson & Johnson), is considered “fully vaccinated” two weeks after the final dose of vaccine (the second dose for a two-dose regimen, or the single dose for a single-dose regimen). Documentation of vaccination status must be shown with valid I.D. upon entry to the venue and available upon request at any time. The following are acceptable as proof of full vaccination: • Vaccination card (which includes the name of the person vaccinated, type of vaccine provided, and date the last dose administered) OR • a photo of a vaccination card as a separate document OR • a photo of the attendee’s vaccine card stored on a phone or electronic device OR • documentation of vaccination from a healthcare provider electronic health record or state Immunization Information System record. • Matching photo ID required at the door • Self-reported vaccination records that are not verified by a health care provider cannot be accepted. UNVACCINATED PATRONS Patrons unable to be vaccinated, including children under 12, will be required to show proof of a negative Covid test within 72 hours prior to the performance, or a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken within 24 hours prior to the performance. The following are acceptable as proof of a negative COVID-19 test result: • Printed document (from the test provider or laboratory) OR • an email or text message displayed on a phone or electronic device from the test provider or laboratory. • The information provided should include the name of the person tested, the type of test performed, and the date of the negative test result (for PCR test, date of negative result must be within prior 72 hours; for antigen test, date of negative result must be within prior 24 hours). Matching photo ID required at the door Additionally, Unexpected Productions’ new COVID-19 Health and Safety Policy follows the recommendation by King County to require that masks be worn by audiences and staff inside the Theatre, except while eating or drinking in designated locations. There will be no separate sections for vaccinated/unvaccinated patrons.
