SKETCH 201: Perform Your LIT Sketch
Wed, April 12, 2017, 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM EDT
You get the basics of how to write a sketch, but let's face it -- you're a stage ham. You want to be on stage performing sketch comedy. Or you want to see your written sketch performed live on stage. So, let's do it. Learn how to make your sketch happen. In this course, you'll work on writing sketches for the stage, and then you'll work towards performing them before an audience. You'll continue to work on writing, developing a sketch with a writers room, and you'll work on your acting chops. You'll see your sketch go through its journey from start to finish, and you'll be rewarded in laughs and applause.
Students will perform on Wednesday, April 26th at 8 pm at LIT's Sketch Night in Adams Morgan.
PREREQUISITES: LIT's Sketch 101 or equivalent or contact LIT for permission.
